Harrisville, 1842 Barn attached to an Inn

This old girl was slowly sliding off of its foundation, pushed by a flood of water draining from up the hill in every storm. The new owners came to me asking to preserve the barn and make usable space for their guests as well.

Wet, crumbling foundation, wet floors, heaved and distorted frame, lack of usable space.

Perimeter drains, new poured and insulated concrete foundation and floors, repaired and replaced crumbling wooden structural components, reclaimed the area as a tea room, entertainment and meeting center.
